Website (pissgrind.ch)
The website contains links to the SearXNG search instance, the Navidrome web player, and the pissgrind app GitHub page. The website itself does not set cookies, does not use analytics, and does not collect personal data beyond what is technically necessary to serve the page.
Hosting
This website and all associated services are hosted on a VPS provided by Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland). Infomaniak processes connection data (IP addresses) as technically required to provide the infrastructure. All data remains in Switzerland.

TLS / Certificates
All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. TLS certificates are provided by Let's Encrypt (Internet Security Research Group, USA). Let's Encrypt may log the domain names for which certificates are issued but does not receive any user traffic or personal data.

SearXNG (https://search.pissgrind.rip)
The search instance is powered by SearXNG and is configured to not log, store, or track any search queries. No cookies are set and no user profiles are created.
pissgrind app & associated services
The following services are used in connection with the pissgrind music player app:
Navidrome (https://fvck.pissgrind.rip)
A user account is required to use the music streaming service. Username and password are stored on the server. Playback data (play counts, favourites) is stored locally on the server and is not shared with any third parties.
Account Registration (https://register.pissgrind.rip)
Account creation is handled through a dedicated registration service. The following data is collected and stored: username, password (hashed), and account creation date.
Authentication (https://auth.pissgrind.rip)
Authentication is handled by Authelia, a self hosted authentication service. Session data is stored locally on the server. No data is shared with third parties.
Recommendation Engine
The app includes an algorithm that suggests music based on listening habits. The following data is stored on the server:
- Genre preferences derived from feedback (thumbs up/down)
- Album feedback history (liked/disliked albums)
This data is tied to your account and is used solely to improve recommendations. It is not shared with any third parties.
Data Transfers Abroad
No user data is transferred outside of Switzerland.
All services run on infrastructure provided by Infomaniak in Switzerland. The only foreign service involved is Let's Encrypt for TLS certificate issuance, which does not receive any user data.
Your Rights Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), give you the right to:
- Request information about your stored personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to the processing of your data
- Request data portability (GDPR)
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (FDPIC in Switzerland, or your local EU data protection authority)

Data Retention
Personal data is only retained for as long as necessary for the stated purpose. Server logs are regularly purged. Navidrome account data and recommendation training data are retained until the account is deleted. To delete your account, please send a message on the Contact page.
