What is pissgrind?
pissgrind is an Android app that streams music from the pissgrind Navidrome server. It learns your taste from the feedback you give while listening, builds personal mixes from the library and recommends albums you might like.
The recommendation algorithm is open source. Your training data is not shared with any third party, and the app shows you why each album was recommended. You can request new songs and albums anytime, so the library keeps growing. No subscription, no ads and no tracking

My Mix
A personal playlist built from up to 50 albums the engine picks for you, shuffled so the same album never plays twice in a row.
Train
Thumbs up, thumbs down. Rate songs while you listen and the recommendation engine adapts to your taste over time.
Discover
Swipe through songs: right to like, left to dislike. Build your taste profile in minutes and save new music straight to your library.
Recommendations
Up to 50 album picks based on your listening history and ratings. Every pick tells you why it was recommended.
Browse Genres
Explore the library by genre, from grindcore to jazz. Look through many genres and even more subgenres available in the app.
Shuffle All
Shuffles the entire library into a fresh queue. You decide how long it gets.
Request Music
Missing an album? Request it inside the app. Requests are checked three times a day and new music is added daily.
Library
Save albums, artists and songs. Create playlists that stay in sync across devices and survive reinstalls.
Customize
Choose from multiple themes or your own custom color. Pick a color and the whole app adapts.
Your data is nobody's business.

All user data is stored on a VPS provided by Infomaniak, Switzerland. All user data is stored in Switzerland and is not transferred outside of Switzerland in any way by the server and its associated services (exceptions apply for users who access pissgrind services from outside Switzerland). Data protection and privacy laws apply accordingly.
